About Megan Mekhail
Megan is passionate about working with adults and adolescents. She provides a compassionate, client-centered approach, helping individuals find healing and hope. She has experience working with clients with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, life transitions, relationship issues, and spiritual concerns using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. She is EMDR trained and certified in Prepare and Enrich for premarital counseling.

Megan earned her Master of Arts in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from James Madison University. She has gained experience working with Harrisonburg Foster Care and the Victim Witness Offices, as well as living in cross-cultural settings abroad.

Megan is conversationally fluent in Spanish and offers services in Spanish, as well as Christian counseling for clients who request it.

In her free time, Megan enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing sports, and visiting new coffee shops with her husband, Martin. They have a golden doodle named Leo who loves to play and keeps them active.
